Right from its inception in 1964, PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Ranikhet has become a centre for excellence in the field of primary, secondary and senior secondary education. In the lap of nature situated in sylvan settings of Kumaon hills of Uttarakhand, KV Ranikhet was established on 1 June 1964. It is one of the earliest 20 schools set up by KVS. Our school is housed in an imposing building over a beautiful landscape.

In affiliation to the CBSE the school is well established with all modern facilities like well designed, smart classrooms, Labs, training in computers, art and craft, music and dance, games and sports and yoga to impart the specified CBSE curriculum from class I to XII. Now our school has assumed a gigantic proportion in terms of academic growth and infrastructure.
